Terms of use
Last updated 1 November 2026
Tunafly is in early testing. It's a demo while it's being built: features change, things may break, and tournaments and accounts may be reset or deleted without notice. Please don't rely on it for anything important yet.
These terms are the agreement between you and Tunafly, an independent project based in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using Tunafly, you agree to them. The privacy policy says how your information is handled.
A demo while it's built
Tunafly is free while it's being tested. It may have bugs. Features may change or disappear, and tournaments, results and accounts may be reset or deleted without notice.
Who can use it
- Anyone with an invite link. There's no minimum age. If you're under 13, a parent or guardian should set up or approve your account.
- One person per account. Use your real name, so the people you play can recognize you.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
Play fair
- Enter true results, and confirm or dispute your opponents' results honestly.
- Say "I've arrived" only when you're there, and report a no-show only when the other side really hasn't come or sent word.
- Be respectful in names, messages and announcements. No harassment, hate or spam.
- Don't make fake accounts, sign in as someone else, or try to break, overload or get around the site's security.
Organizers
Organizers are responsible for their tournaments: the rules, the schedule, and the people they invite, including the officials who enter and check results for them. When a result is disputed, the organizer's decision is final on Tunafly.
What you enter
What you enter stays yours. You allow Tunafly to store it and show it to the people in your tournaments, including in the tournament news.
The AI news
Tournament news is written by a computer from the results, for fun. It's checked against the numbers, but it can still get things wrong. The table and the match results are the official record, not the news.
No guarantees
Tunafly is provided as it is, without warranties, and may be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, Tunafly isn't responsible for losses that come from using it, such as missed matches or lost data.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time, in Me → Delete my account. An account that breaks these terms may be suspended or removed.
Law and changes
These terms follow the laws of Ontario and of Canada. If they change, the date at the top changes too, and big changes will be announced on the site.
